The Team House was set up by the Johnson Family in 2004. They came to South Africa in support of Living Hope (see partners). They found and secured a long-term lease on The Team House from a fellow church member with the idea of hosting visiting missionary teams from around the world. Ever since those humble beginnings The Team House has gone on to become Living Hope's preferred accommodation and logistics partner.

We host all Living Hope's International mission teams, as well as University/School groups, conferences, local church weekends, retreats, sports teams and film shoots. We also provide full logistical support to teams by providing not only the accommodation and meals, but transport, guides and sight seeing. This leaves the organizer to concentrate on the job at hand.

MICHAEL
The MD of African Encounter South Africa and The Team House. Michael is the man behind most of what we do. Without him, much of what you will experience wouldn't be possible.
RAMOS
is the Team House manager. Ramos was born in Malawi and embodies Malawi's spirit of friendliness and hospitality.

NADINE
is the team house chef who has been offered a job many a time by guests. We are happy to say she is still with us and the smells that waft out of that kitchen leave our neighbors envious daily.
GORDON
is a trained guide and also the team house assistant manager. His years in the industry means he knows almost everyone! Gordon has a wonderful sense of humor and a personality that draws you in.

FRANCIE
His smile and ability to put his heart into everything he does will leave you walking away with a true taste of South African hospitality.
JENNIFER & ABIGAIL
our two wonderful housekeepers. They are always on hand to take care of you, not because they have to, but because they truly care.
